Free on Microsoft Store till 31-Dec-2025

Since 2008, Mass Image Compressor has been freely available on SourceForge, and now also on GitHub and Winget since 2025. While those versions are fully functional and open-source, they are unsigned, causing installation issues due to Windows security warnings.

To solve this, we published the same version on the Microsoft Store. It’s digitally signed, safe, and more accessible for everyday users. While the Store version doesn’t include any extra features, it gives ease and trust for many at fraction of the cost (one time charge) when compared to other commercial options.

We are happy to share that our 2025 costs have already been recovered. As a token of gratitude during this festive season (from Diwali in India to Christmas holidays worldwide), Mass Image Compressor will remain free on Microsoft Store til December 31, 2025. Those who wish to fund the project or buy me a coffee can still do through Paypal.

Happy Holidays everyone!
