TLDR;
We have received report of rare crashes on Windows version of Mass Image Compressor. Our users are encouraged to report any crash that happens on their Windows. Use contact form, specify Windows/Mac, and info about which action caused the crash and any additional information.
No software is perfect. Mass Image Compressor is no exception. We sometime get crash report from Mac App Store and Windows Store.
While our macOS version has reported zero crash in last 90 days from Mac App Store, case is different on our Microsoft Store version. We see a crash about once in a week from our users. Which may not look much but we always aim to get crashless 90 days on Windows platform also.
As you can see, the crash is happening on Windows 10 as well as Windows 11, but we haven’t collected information about the crash so it is categorized as ‘Unknown’ crash on Microsoft’s crash reporting framework. Hence, we seek your help, afterall, Mass Image Compressor is gets most of its feature based on request and ideas from its user i.e. you.
In my test on Windows 10 and 11, I haven’t seen any crash except the one which causes due to missing VC Runtime on Windows. It will help us immensely if you sends us a mail to our support email or contact form, and just let us know that you faced a crash, we will get back to you in 24 hours and we will assist you on how to get more info about the crash.
